The boundaries of IDP coaching

IDP is designed for general adult weight-management coaching. It is not a medical, emergency or dietetic treatment service.

Last updated 16 August 2026

1. Adult service

IDP is currently available to adults aged 18 and over who meet the launch eligibility requirements. Onboarding includes age and suitability checks before personalised coaching begins.

2. General coaching, not medical treatment

IDP can provide general calorie awareness, meal estimates, behaviour coaching, progress review and practical planning. It does not diagnose or treat disease, prescribe or alter medication, provide medical nutrition therapy, or replace advice from a doctor, accredited practising dietitian or another appropriately qualified health professional.

3. Health disclosures

Members are asked to disclose relevant circumstances that could affect the safety or suitability of the service. This can include pregnancy, eating-disorder history, medically supervised diets, significant medical conditions or other circumstances where ordinary weight-loss coaching may be inappropriate. A disclosure can trigger coach review before personalised guidance continues.

4. Out-of-scope requests

IDP does not support deliberate dehydration, purging, laxative use for weight control, unsafe restriction, self-harm, medication dosing decisions or attempts to use the service to treat an eating disorder or medical condition. Automated guidance is constrained when these topics arise and a coach may narrow or stop advice.

5. Emergencies

IDP is not monitored as an emergency channel and cannot provide urgent medical assistance. If you need urgent help, use an appropriate emergency or health service rather than waiting for an IDP coach or support response.

6. Food estimates and uncertainty

Calories, protein and portion estimates are approximate. Images can hide ingredients, preparation methods and serving sizes. When accuracy materially affects a decision, IDP may ask for clarification or encourage you to use more reliable product information.

7. Coaching targets

Targets are general coaching tools and may change as weight trend, adherence, routine and goals change. They are not prescriptions. IDP may decline or modify a requested target if it appears outside the service’s safety rules.

8. Contact

Questions about service suitability or a safety review can be sent to support@invisiblediet.com.au. Existing members should also keep relevant information updated in their account and coach conversation.
