Refund policy

Refunds, billing errors and service problems

This policy explains when IDP will consider a refund and how Australian consumer rights interact with the membership.

Last updated 16 August 2026

1. Change of mind

IDP does not generally provide a refund simply because you change your mind after a valid subscription payment and digital service access has been made available. You can stop future renewals at any time in accordance with the Cancellation Policy.

2. Consumer guarantees

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If the service has a major failure, or another consumer guarantee is not met, you may be entitled to a remedy that can include cancellation, a refund for an unused portion, correction of the problem or compensation depending on the circumstances.

3. Duplicate or incorrect charges

If you believe you were charged twice, charged an amount different from the amount presented at checkout, or billed after a cancellation should have taken effect, contact IDP so the transaction and Stripe records can be reviewed. Genuine billing errors will be corrected.

4. Service availability problems

A brief interruption or maintenance period does not automatically create a refund entitlement. If a material service problem prevents IDP from providing the paid service for a significant period, contact us so we can assess the issue, any available service credit or refund, and any rights that apply under consumer law.

5. Ineligible or mistaken checkout

IDP is currently offered to eligible Australian adults. If a paid checkout is later found to be ineligible and access cannot lawfully or operationally be provided, IDP will review the payment promptly and take the appropriate action, which can include cancelling the subscription and refunding an initial charge where required.

6. Promotions and complimentary access

Complimentary access codes do not have a cash refund value. Refunds on paid promotional subscriptions are assessed against the amount actually paid, the offer terms and applicable consumer rights. See the Promotion Terms.

7. How to request a refund review

Email support@invisiblediet.com.au from the address associated with your account. Include the date and amount of the charge and a short explanation of the issue. Do not send full payment-card numbers or security codes.

8. Approved refunds

Approved refunds are returned through the original Stripe payment method where practical. After IDP submits a refund, the time taken for the funds to appear is controlled by Stripe, the card network and your financial institution.
